APSY 3990 Sophomore Compass: Academic Advising Workshops

Sophomore Compass is a required, zero-credit series of workshops created just for sophomores in the Applied Psychology and Human Development (APHD) major. Sophomore year can feel like a lot new expectations, bigger decisions, and a lot of unanswered questions about what comes next. The course is here to help. Through small group advising and mentoring with people who know the APHD path well, students get real support in making sense of degree requirements, exploring where their interests might lead, and finding the resources at Boston College that can help them thrive. By the end, students walk away not just with a plan, but with a stronger sense of direction and the confidence that they don't have to figure it all out alone.
