APSY 7860 Seminar in School Counseling II
This seminar is a continuation of the professional learning experience designed to support candidates' professional growth and learning throughout the state-required practicum in the School Counseling program. Taken concurrently with APSY 7861: Practicum in School Counseling, the seminar is facilitated by the candidate's Program Supervisor, who serves as both the university supervisor and instructor of record. Through structured supervision, collaborative consultation, case discussion, and reflective practice, candidates integrate theory with clinical practice, strengthen their professional identity, and develop the ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed competencies required for recommendation for licensure as a School Counselor in Massachusetts.
