This course is a continuation of the state-required practicum component of the School Counseling program. Taken concurrently with Seminar in School Counseling (APSY 7860), the practicum consists of a 600-hour, year-long clinical experience completed at an approved PK12 school site under the supervision of licensed professionals. Through sustained, supervised fieldwork, candidates integrate professional knowledge, counseling skills, ethical practice, and reflective decision-making while providing comprehensive school counseling services in authentic educational settings.
