ARTS 2297 Motion Graphics

This course is an introduction to time-based media and animation, with a focus on motion graphics using Adobe After Effects. Students will develop foundational skills such as storyboarding, designing, working with footage, composing, and producing short animated pieces. Projects will focus on applying elements such as typography, imagery, graphics, and sound while gaining an understanding of sequence, rhythm, framing and the theories and principles of motion.
