BCOM 6688 Strategic Business Communication
Restricted to CSOM and GCSOM This undergraduate/graduate course focuses on workplace communication strategies, protocols, styles, and formats essential for professional success, particularly within corporate environments. Students will master a variety of workplace deliverables, including business letters, memos, instructions, crisis communications, reports, proposals, e-mails, and oral presentations. In addition to core business communications, students will learn to strategically engage with Artificial Intelligence as a flexible assistant for brainstorming, organizing ideas, and refining drafts. Emphasis is placed on ethical, effective AI integration while preserving a students authentic voice and critical thinking in all professional communications.
