The course will also explore data analytics, showing how metrics such as ratings, clicks, and engagement shape business decisions.Students will create sports content, analyze media campaigns and develop marketing strategies for real or hypothetical organizations. Case studies of major events such as World Cup Soccer, help illustrate how media coverage influences revenue and public perception.The course will also address current challenges, including cord-cutting, piracy and the rapid growth of social media influencers. Legal and ethical issues, such as broadcasting rights and athlete privacy, will be discussed to give students a well-rounded understanding.Overall,the course will help prepare students for careers in sports marketing, broadcasting, journalism, and digital media by combining business principles with hands-on media experience.
