Research Seminar

This graduate seminar introduces PhD students to emerging topics and active research across computer science and its subdisciplines. The course meets biweekly for seminar talks by invited speakers working at the forefront of their areas. In alternate weeks, students complete assignments based on the seminar talks and related research papers, together with consideration of responsible research practices. The course is intended to broaden research awareness and strengthen critical reading, technical writing, and scholarly presentation skills.
