Our Home Among the Cosmos
Our Home Among the Cosmos explores the connections between Earth, our solar system, and the broader universe. This course examines Earth's internal structure, geological processes, and surface dynamics alongside the formation of the universe, its elements, and the evolution of stars, galaxies, and planetary bodies. Emphasis is placed on the physical and chemical processes that shape both Earth and celestial bodies, as well as the scientific methods used to study them. By integrating earth science and astronomy, this course highlights the deep links between our planet and the cosmos and how ongoing discoveries continue to refine our understanding of Earth's past, present, and our place in the universe.
