ENGR 3100 Collaborative Service Engineering Project

In this course, students apply the engineering design process to a project in collaboration with a community partner. The process involves identifying real-world problems through stakeholder engagement, defining design requirements, and applying engineering methods to generate, evaluate, and refine conceptual designs that address user needs. Designs are further developed through testing and feedback from stakeholders. The course culminates in a final presentation and a detailed project report that demonstrates the application of engineering principlesincluding consideration of risks and trade-offsto develop high-quality solutions to complex, community-driven challenges.
