FILM 3303 Screenwriting I

Write the movie only you can write. In this screenwriting course, students move from an idea suitable for a movie to a story outline and culminating in writing a feature full-length screenplay. Students will learn the three-act structure, plot, character, and industry format for a full-length screenplay. Weekly writing builds toward a completed screenplay, with in-class workshops sharpening visual storytelling through peer and instructor feedback.
