GERM 2014 Drama und Kunst
Conducted in German. This course explores the vibrant connections between drama and visual art in German and European history from the Enlightenment to today. Students will analyze key plays and performances, examining how writers and artists respond to social, political, and cultural currents. How do stage and visual art speak to one another, and what can they reveal about the world in which they are created and performed today? Students will also develop reading, writing, and speaking skills in German through discussion, compositions, presentations, and small-scale performance projects.
