JOUR 2223 Sports and News Broadcasting
Note to Journalism minors: this course satisfies the requirement for an elective with a craft" orientation." This course will focus on developing performance and writing skills for sports and news broadcasting. From play by play to interviewing to writing for news broadcasts, this class will help prepare you for working in the ever-changing broadcasting world. Participants will learn how to present on-air and interview politicians, athletes, and other newsmakers. Industry leaders in broadcasting will be frequest guest lecturers, and we'll also analyze and critique each other's work.
