LAWS 3423 Amicus Brief Clinic

This clinic provides students and faculty an opportunity to weigh in on, and attempt to influence, the development of the law and public policy in the courts. This clinic experience is ad-hoc and students may sign up as briefing opportunities become available. The clinic does not span the length of a semester, but students commit at least 85 hours of work to complete the required briefing and earn 2 credits. If, after the completion of briefing, a student has worked fewer than 85 hours, the student will earn 1 hour of credit.
