PSYC 6540 Social Psychology Seminar
This seminar brings together the social psychology area in the department, including faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and doctoral students, around presentations by invited scholars working at the forefront of the field, as well as presentations by doctoral students in the program. Each session exposes the broader community to diverse empirical approaches, theoretical questions, and cutting-edge findings in social psychology, fostering ongoing dialogue between local and visiting researchers. For doctoral students, the seminar provides direct engagement with the range of work shaping contemporary social psychology and the opportunity to situate their own developing research within the wider field.
