SOCY 2200 Statistics
Required for the Sociology major; Offered every semesterThis course is an introduction to statistics utilizing Stata statistical software. Statistical issues covered include measures of central tendency, measures of dispersion, random sampling, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, measures of correlation, simple regression, chi-square, and one-way analysis of variance.
