Statistics II
This course assumes knowledge of the material covered in SOCY2200; that is, a course in basic statistics and a solid background usingstatistical software. Much of the course will deal with multiple linearregression, including topics such as data preparation and transformations,analysis of residuals and outliers, interaction terms, linearity concerns,model fit, and interpretation of results. The course will also introducelogistic regression, mediation and panel data analyses. This course does notrequire a knowledge of matrix algebra or calculus.Prerequisite: SOCY 2200 or ECON1151, BIOL2300, PSYC1120.
