SPAN 6655 Writing and Memory in the Andean World
Conducted in Spanish. Fulfills pre-1900 Latin American requirement for major Andean literature and culture reflects both rich and diverse traditions and the ongoing drama of conquest and resistance. Sources in fiction, poetry, history and film will include colonial and decolonial perspectives spanning the 16thto the 21st centuries from Peru, Chile, and Colombia.
