THTR 1052 Advanced Production Lab: Music Director

The Music Director Lab will allow students to develop the skills necessary to coordinate, rehearse, and lead a cast and band/orchestra in a Theatre Department production. Students will develop their understanding of music in the context of a theatrical production and the associated logistics through hands-on practice. Students will work on a specific department production as the music director during the semester; the work will vary slightly as determined by individual abilities and interests, as well as the style, orchestration, and vocal demands of the particular show.
