Biography

Carol Mann-Cohen MSW, LICSW is a licensed clinical social worker with over 35 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Carol embraces a client-centered and strengths based clinical practice perspective, believing that families can be our greatest source of strength as well as our greatest challenge. Her approach is informed by the beliefs that the individual or family is the true expert on their experience, and that there is always the possibility to create meaningful change. The incredible strength of individuals facing adversity and their resilience and ability to heal continues to inspire her. Carol is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Boston College School of Social Work where she teaches Basic Skills in Clinical Social Work, Family Therapy, Clinical Practice with Adults, and Clinical Practice with Children, Youth, and Families.
