Biography

Dr. Catherine Conahan has extensive experience in oncology nursing, mentorship, and healthcare quality improvement projects. Dr. Conahan has been in oncology nursing her entire career. Her educational journey began at Georgetown University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. She further expanded her knowledge and skills by pursuing an Adult/Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner degree from New York University. Driven by her passion for making a meaningful impact on patient care, Dr. Conahan went on to achieve a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Boston College. Currently, she pursues her passion as an advocate for nursing education and mentorship in her role as a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor at the Connell School of Nursing, while simultaneously working clinically as an oncology Nurse Practitioner.
