Biography

Cristina Maier’s primary research interests lie in data science, data-driven systems, and adaptive algorithms, with a particular focus on recommender systems, clustering methods, autonomous systems, big data storage and analytics technologies, fairness in AI/ML, graph and hypergraph modeling, and optimization problems. In addition to her teaching and research experience, she also brings industry experience in data science, mapping and autonomous systems, big data and analytics technologies, educational data mining, game analytics, and distributed data systems.
