Biography
Crystal Lyons is currently a mediator at MWI's Court Program. Previously, she served as the supervising assistant district attorney and captain of the Mental Health Team of the Appeals and Training Bureau within the Middlesex District Attorney's Office. As captain, Lyons advised on questions of competency and criminal responsibility, reviewed forensic mental health evaluations and psychosocial assessments, established policy and review procedures, and determined civil commitment decisions. Prior to joining BC Law, Lyons taught at New England Law in Boston where she specialized in mental health law.
