Biography

Stefan Walz is an assistant professor in the Seidner Department of Finance at the Boston College Carroll School of Management. His research interests are in financial intermediation, macro-finance, and monetary policy. More specifically, he studies the evolving role of banks in credit markets amid technological and regulatory change. His research has appeared in the Journal of Monetary Economics and has received coverage from policy-related journals. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from Columbia Business School at Columbia University.
