Biography

Wonkyung Jung, Ph.D., M.S.N., RN., is an assistant professor at the Connell School of Nursing. Her research focuses on promoting social reintegration and enhancing functional independence among older adults with disabilities, particularly after traumatic brain injury (TBI). Her ultimate research goal is developing interventions for successful and healthy aging among older adults with disabilities. Dr. Jung received her Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Washington and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University. She is a member of Gerontological Society of America (GSA) and Asian American Pacific Islander Nurses Association (AAPINA).
