Special Topics in Higher Education: AI in Social and Education Policy
This course that prepares students to use generative AI for rigorous, ethical, and impactful research. Students learn to integrate AI into key tasks, including literature mapping, data analysis, and policy dissemination, while evaluating its limitations and risks. Through hands-on labs and real-world applications, students design AI-supported workflows for their own projects. Emphasizing responsible use, transparency, and verification, the course positions students at the forefront of a rapidly evolving research landscape. As part of the emerging Education and Social Policy initiative, the course will impart skills highly valued across academia, policy, and industry.
