NURS 9880 Obstetric and Gynecologic Ambulatory Care I

This is the first specialty course in the Nurse Midwifery program. The course focuses on healthpromotion, prevention and management of common alterations in sexual and reproductivehealth, as well as an introduction to care of pregnant people. Theoretical, evidence-based andperson-centered clinical approaches to obstetric and gynecologic health problems areemphasized.
