Biography
Jamiel Poindexter is a tax partner in the Private Investment Funds Group of Proskauer, LLP. He advises on the formation, structuring, restructuring and operation of U.S. and non-U.S. buyout funds, venture funds, funds-of-funds, secondary funds, and other investment partnerships. Further, Poindexter advises buyers, sellers and sponsors on secondary transactions of all types, including continuation funds, LP-led porfolio transactions, and preferred equity investments. With over 25 years of experience, Poindexter guides his clients on all tax and economic matters relating private investment funds.
