Biography

Over the last 10 years, Michelle Hacunda has worked in Communications and Marketing in a variety of industries from financial services to higher education to biotechnology. At MilliporeSigma, which is owned by Merck KGaA, she managed internal, external and executive communications for more than 4,000+ global employees. Currently, she serves as a communications and marketing consultant for both startup and global organizations. In her work, she is often responsible for shaping organizational stories through content strategy, thought leadership, and collaborating with sales/product teams. She earned her B.A. in Communication Studies from Bridgewater State University and M.A. in Communication Management from Emerson College. As an affiliated/adjunct faculty, she has taught Digital Storytelling, Social Media, and Online Content Strategy courses in the past. In her spare time, she serves on the Social Media Street Team for the Massachusetts Conference for Women and on her alma mater's Alumni Association Board.
