Terms of Use
What the service may be used for, what it may not be used for, and the limits that apply to course information presented here. Using Linden Study means accepting those limits.
Privacy notice
What information the service handles, how it is used, how long it is kept, which service providers process it, and the Boston College account information it never requests. Linden Study holds no BC credential and runs no background seat scraping. Privacy requests go through the Contact form with the topic Privacy request.
Community guidelines
Contributions describe a course experience, not a person's character. Content that targets, identifies, or endangers an individual is out of bounds, as is anything presented as an official university finding.
Reports about a contribution, and appeals of a moderation decision, go through the Contact form with the topic Other. Include the page URL, the content concerned, and the guideline you believe applies.
Data sources and provenance
Every category of data carries its source, its capture time, and its reuse status. Official quantitative aggregates, catalog metadata, and experimental third-party signals are labelled separately and never merged into one number.
Corrections and source questions go through the Contact form with the topic Data correction: include the course code, the instructor, the page URL, the field you believe is wrong, and an authoritative source where one exists. Licensing questions use the topic Other.

Accessibility commitments, known limitations, and the route for reporting a barrier: the Contact form with the topic Accessibility. Corrections to course or instructor information go through the same form with the topic Data correction and name the disputed field.

Copyright
Claims about material presented on Linden Study should identify the work, the URL, and the basis of the claim. Catalog text and evaluation aggregates remain the property of their sources and are presented with attribution.
No copyright agent has been designated yet, and the operator's legal name, mailing address, and phone number have not been published. Until an agent is designated, a copyright notice or a counter-notice can be sent through the Contact form with the topic Other; the form is not a designated agent. A notice sent this way is reviewed case by case, with no promised procedure or timeline.
Trademark, privacy, defamation, and factual-correction complaints are not copyright notices. Send a privacy complaint with the topic Privacy request, a factual correction with the topic Data correction, and any other legal report with the topic Other.
